Last week was the week of transfers and we helped recieve 18 new missionaries.  On Monday, my new companion came to be with us from Calbuco. He is from San Marcos, Guatemala. I'm super excited to work with him and learn lots together. Elder Zamudio is headed off to Puerto Cisnes in the Coyhaique Zone. He will be doing a whitewash there and training.

On Tuesday night after everyone got here and settled in a bit, we got to take a few Elders to a baptism that was happening nearby that evening. That baptism was Angel, the son of Gloria!! I am so grateful and happy that I got to see that and that he took the decision to be baptized. It was such a wonderful feeling to see them and all of the members again. I really felt like I had a positive impact on the people there.

The next days were full of getting missionaries moved around to their new areas, and saying goodbye to a few friends who are headed home.

We have worked a lot with Francisco these past couple weeks. He has come to various activities and is doing a great job of reading the assignments that we give him. He tells us that he feels good and peaceful as he reads and we know that that is the Holy Ghost! He has made lots of good relationships with the members here so that is going to help him progress a lot.

The other day after lunch we had a little time so we decided to knock some doors. I asked my companion where we could find someone to teach,  and he asked me what my favorite color was. I said blue, so we knocked the first blue house we found and Navia opened the door. We had a very powerful contact with her and got her phone number and a time to come back later. It was awesome. This past Saturday we went back and she couldn't let us in, but we taught a little on the doorstep and we really did feel the Spirit. When we testify of thear truths and the people listen,  it is impossible not to hear and feel the power of the words we speak. I believe that she is prepared to listen to us and we will continue working with her.

Yesterday was a wonderful fast and testimony meeting. The weather was beautiful so it helped us all to have  water attitudes. Ricardo blessed the Sacrament for the first time yesterday too. He's doing so well and is so strong. He is back in Osorno permanently now and working in a new restaurant.  God is blessing and taking care of him.

In the upcoming weeks, President Bragg is going to take a tour of our mission so we are excited and busy preparing for that.

Great things are happening here in our mission and everyone is excited for the work we are doing. As we search to ANDAR CON PROPÓSITO in each moment of each day, we experiment great blessings and miracles. I hope you can do the same!:)
